Not sure if I am in the corrct forum but here is my issue.

I am evaluating Windows 7 professional for my company and so far the only
bad feature I have found so far is when I am in SQL server 2008 Management
studio, and I go to the folder to open an existing file on my local hard
drive. I click on the folder, wait about 20-30 seconds and it opens my
documents\sqlstuff. I click on the file I want to open and wait another 20 -
30 seconds for it to open. I have only noticed this in SQL management studio
so far

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26GHz 2.27 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 2.00 GB
System type: 32-bit Operating System

Please let me know if you need any more info.

TIA,
Joe

Hi

I think you need to reconfigure SSMS, see if this helps you

Another way is t have a solutuion opened within SSMS
