difference between SAPI 5.1 and 5.3

Hi all

I am developing a speech recognition applicaiton in SAPI . Now, in SAPI 5.3,
my output is good. I run the same test file through sapi 5.1 and it is
awful. Does anyone know whether the ASR engine is different in sapi 5.1 and
5.3? If no, then why would I be getting such differing results. Are the
speech profiles the same format? Could it be objecting to a sapi 5.3
profile?

I need to use sapi 5.1 ideally as my application will be used within an XPe
platform

Could you tell me where did you download the sapi 5.3? I'm now using sapi 5.1
in my SR application which takes audio files as input without training, but
the accuracy is soooooo bad. Do you mean in 5.3 the output is greatly
improved? If I change from 5.1 to 5.3 do I need to change my code?

Sapi 5.3 comes with Vista. If I run my app through vista, then I get one set
of results which is pretty good. If I then run the same app through XP with
Sapi 5.1 with the same profile, it gives a much worse set of results.
