Hi, I developed a desktop speech application that targets against the Microsoft Speech Platform. Works fine on my win7 64-bit dev machine with both x86 and x64 runtimes installed as well as the Speech Platform SDK 64. However when I manually install these packages, along with the language pack MSSpeech_SR_en-US_TELE.msi, i get no recognition results at all. There are no errors, the mic works fine, it just seems to be deaf.
Is there a specific install order I have to follow? Am I missing a component that also needs to be installed? Why does this work on my dev machine but not on the install win7 target machine? I half think that there is some other piece I am missing that will connect the mic to the Speech Platform, but I am at a loss since I am running the same app on my dev and install target machine. I am using the Speech Platform b/c I just want good quality command and control recognition, I don't want dictation capability at all.
I am at a loss. Anybody have any ideas? Bueller? Bueller?
Thanks,
Michael
