TTSAPP speak error with <SILENCE MSEC = "3000"> tag

I use the TTSAPP application to build speechs from texts. I need to
include some silences in the speechs. With the xml tag <SILENCE MSEC
="3000"> that I insert in my text I was thinking to get the good result
but I get a speak error message. Can you help me ? The TTSAPP that I
use comes with the SAPI5 SDK downloaded last week. Do I do wrong by
inserting tag in my speech text ?

You have misformed XML. You forgot the "/" before the >.
Use <SILENCE MSEC="3000"/> and poof, no error.
