I have an interesting situation.

I installed Speech Server 2007 on Windows 7 64 bit. Visual Studio 2005 for
development. I can debug projects no problem, I can call application using
Visual Studio debugger and everything works fine. The only problem is when I
installed Soft phone and I dialed to the server there is no voice. The
server picks up and I know the correct application picks up, but when app
should be talking to me asking for pin (or even sample hello world) there is
no voice. At this point I have a gap in my brain on how to tackle this
problem. As I mentioned before while debugging everything works fine.

Have you tried turning off any firewalls that may be active?

Are there multiple nics on the machine?

Have you verified that you can hear via the softphone fine when you call
other targets?

Are there multiple network cards in any of the machines?

Have you tried disabling the firewall?

If you use the softphone to call something else, does the audio work fine.

Is the softphone on the same machine as MSS?
