I tried deleting some folders, where checked-out files are kept, one
at a time which was successful until I only had two left. These
folders files are on the NT network; not on my local mahcine. When I
tried to delete the next one I got an error message stating
'Permission Denied'. On clicking OK to this, one of the folders that
I had only just deleted was re-created. When I tried to access this
folder the 'Permission Denied' notice appeared again. When I tried to
delete the other folder the same message appeared and another one of
the previously deleted folders was re-created. To get the path
correct (or really 'cos I am lazy) I went to Internet Explorer to get
the path in a fashion that I could cut and paste
(I don't have active desktop so this is not possible from NT
Explorer). On browsing to the afore mentioned folder I had a look in
the folder causing problems and found no sign of any files or other
directories. This was strange as they still showed in NT Explorer
even after a refresh. So I tried to delete the folder and 'hey
presto' it worked without any error message. Suggestions please.
