When closing the project controller an error message came up:

Untransferred Cash Transactions exist

Does anyone know how to backtrack to figure this out?

You should be able to correct by re-running the FTT process. But KB
933080 goes into more detail on this error.

The FTT process is over in Project Controller. Open the "Financial
Transaction Transfer" screen, select "All" for the module, and click
Begin processing.

KB 933080 is Knowledge Base article 933080. It can be found on
customersource or partnersource:

https://mbs.microsoft.com/knowledgebase/KBDisplay.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;933080

When closing the project controller an error message came up:

Open AR Batches Exist

We went to the General Ledger / Post Transactions / All (nothing is there)
and then back to close the project controller and the same message comes up.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,
You probably have an Unreleased AR batch for the period you are trying to
close in Projects. Look for Batches with status of Hold or Balanced/Release
Later or Suspended/Partially Released in the AR module - could be Invoices,
Payments, Payment Reversal, or Small Balance Write-Off. Look in the Invoice
& Payment Entry screens, or in the AR Release Batches screen for the others.

Good luck!

Thanks Laura,
There was a deposit that no action had been taken (hold)! Took care of and
was able to close the Project Controller.
