We have thousands of Windows clients (XP, Vista) that are using WSUS 3.0 for updates. When the WSUS server is updated to WSUS 3.0 SP2, will the automatic update client on the workstations need to be updated with a newer version? And if so, would it require a reboot? I need to know how the clients will be affected before initiating the upgrade. Thanks

Hi Ron,
Did you ever get an answer/find out? I am in the same boat as you; I would like to update my server but I do not want to freak out my planet if it's going to prompt users that it has to reboot ASAP (or something to that effect).
