Microsoft Updates unable to access

Since about a month ago I have been unable to access and receive any
microsoft updates. until then I've never had a problem seems to me it was
about the same time that BING made it's debut,
It tells me the website has encountered a problem and cannot display the
page I'm trying to access . ( error number: 0x800704DD) pouring over their
posted solutions and issues I can't seem to get an answer so that I CAN once
again download updates from microsoft. Can anyone help???

gingerlou, I am having the same problem that you have posted. Have you
recieved an answer (solution) and if so will you please send it my way? Thank

i know one thing for sure microsoft is of no help at all as usual.
