It is not possible to see the buffer as it part of the operating system. It
is indicating that the allocated memory is running out of elements, usually
because elements are not be released. It is better to veiw this message as
a reason to look at why resources are not being released, usually client
connections not cleaning up.

Gb,

When you get these errors a restart of SNA Server is recommended. Whatever is
causing the leak needs to be tracked down. To do that, do the below. MS PSS
can then, hopefully, determine what the cause of the leak is.

1 Start tracing SNA MngAgent immediately after reboot
2 Set eventmon to look for 5123, 5124, 5150
3 Stop tracing SNA MngAgent on first event occurrence

What version of SNA Server are you running? Usual "support" recommendations
apply of getting onto the latest supported version/level.

Hi Neil,
We use SNA Server-Client 4.0 Sp4.
Our developer group will examine application codes.

What is the end of support of Sna 4.0 Server?

thanx,

Gb - not online at the mo, so can't check. It's on the standard MS support /
end-of-life webpage though.

I'm fairly sure that it's already entered the "no-fix" phase of support
though, so, even if a bug was identified for your problem it wouldn't be fixed
(except in HIS 2000/2004 if it also existed there).

I'd recommend an upgrade to either HIS 2000 SP1, or HIS 2004. I don't have
HIS 2004 in production yet, but will do, hopefully, soon.
