Now that this has been done, all logs on client PCs show that the Microsoft
Updates Tool is running successfully. However, when I run this (with
expeditted option), SMS reporting shows that a scan has not occurred with the
latest synchronized catalog. Server logs show that it is correctly picking
up the data.
Software updates that are being installed via the updates wizard are also
showing as not installed. Normally updates should be going to reboot pending
state, but it is not occuring, they remain in "No Status".
So in short, updates wizard and scanning appear to work correctly according
to all logs, but the database does not appear to be properly updating to
reflect this.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
