USING WSUS in SCCM

In the painful transition from ITMU to WSUS in SCCM

Fundamental question is WHERE did the status messages go for the
Installation to install patches? In the ITMU it was considered an
advertisement and status messages for the installation could be read in
Advertisement Status.

Nothing shows up in the Status Messages/Advertisement Status for this
advertisement anymore. I can deploy patches using the WSUS but I can't see
any status on success or failure.

Using web reports is not a workaround. I still see status messages for the
old ITMU patch installation advertisement. But what happened to new one?
