ConfigMgr 4.0 Resouce Explorer exception for SMS_AISoftwareList

Hi All,

We are inventoring a non-Windows object in ConfigMgr version 4.00.6221.1000.

When we go to open the hardware inventory within resource explorer, the
console throws an exception:

The strange this here is that there are other non-Windows objects in the
ConfigMgr DB but we do not see this same behaviour. So this leads me to
believe that the console is going into the DB view (vex_AI_SoftwareList)/WMI
class/instances (\root\sms\site_XYZ.AI_SoftwareList) based on some data in
other tables. Does anyone have some hints as to why it is going after this
data?
