For auditing purposes, we'd like to track the history of all ip addresses
that a network device ever had, and the date when this device had the ip
address.

Does anyone think that this is possible using SMS?

Thank you,
Bill

SMS Hardware Inventory will automatically report changes to its inventory
data. IP address is one of the attributes we report. So, under Hardware
History, you'd see a list of classes that have modified attributes. You
could then select any class that had been modified to see different
dates/times (which represent inventory reports that were different from the
previous report). If Network Adapter Configuration is listed, then you can
look at it to see the attributes from that inventory report. IP address is
one of the attributes for that class.
