Retrieve AD computer object description

Hi all,

I know that SMS inventory can retrieve the computer description that is
found under My Computer -> Properties -> and so on, but...Since in my IT
infrastructure this kind of data is set inside computer objects, I'd
like to know if there's a way to retrieve it. I thought that I can't
get this information by SMS (because I suppose that it cannot be defined
as a piece of the "ordinary" inventory but it's a kind of discovery,
instead).
I know that such information could be retrieved by a vbs script, but I'd
rather prefer to get it shown in SMS reports.

Yes you can collect this data by editing the sms_def.mof.

Under the Computer System section, Change Caption to TRUE.
