sms 2.0 on windows 2000 - domain upgrade from 2000 to 2008

Hi All,

We have a customer running sms 2.0 on a windows 2000 vmware machine.
The customer has asked us to upgrade the domain, preferrably to 2008, and if
not possible to windows 2003.

How does sms 2.0 behave in a 2003/2008 domain environment ?
Do I need to upgrade the version of sms and/or the windows os version of the
sms system ?

SMS 2.0 is not going to be supported on Win 2008 domain.

It would be best to upgrade to ConfigMgr 2007 R2. However this might be
a multiple step process and defiantly should be tested within a lab.
