Hello,

I am testing SCCM 2007, having PXE booted a server, i am receiving the
following error when running a custom task sequence where the only task is
to capture image.

"The task sequence cannot be run because the program files for SCM00001
cannot be located on a distribution point"

SCM00001 is the x86 boot agent.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

Regards
Matthew

I'm having exactly the same problem, any solution would be greatly
appreciated!

Dieter

In my test environment, the only task is to partition/format the hard
disk.

I finally found the solution.

You have to specify a Network Access Account.

SCCM gives this hint in the properties of the Task Sequence
Advertisement...
