I am trying to get SMS 2.0 SP5 working at a client.

I have the site up and running, and have manually installed the client on 2
NT 4.0 SP6a workstations, and have tested remote tools on them.

I am trying to test packages, and am having a problem with constant errors
on collections.

I created a new collection based on the existing query All Systems.

When I click on the collection, it turns to a hour glass (as expected) and
after about a minute I get the message below. This happens for any
collection.

Server is Windows 2000 server SP4 with SQL Server 2000 all patched and up to
date.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm not familiar with that error, never seen it. If closing and restarting
the SMS Administrator Console doesn't work, I'd restart WMI. If that doesn't
work, search the Knowledge Base. If that doesn't help, then I'd open a case
with PSS.
