DDR & RPL Backlog in replmgr.box & ddm.box -Urgent Assistance Requ

I'm experiencing trouble with excess DDR & RPL files in the
'SMS\inboxes\auth\ddm.box\' & 'SMS\inboxes\replmgr.box\incoming\'
respectively.

running sms 2003 sp3 on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 - Central Site | Multiple
Primary Sites | 50-60 Secondary sites.

there are several million rpl files in 'inboxes\replmgr.box\incoming\' and
several more million ddr files in 'inboxes\auth\ddm.box\' on the central sms
site server, they seem to be generated from one of the primary SMS site
servers where there are also smaller backlogs.

I've checked logs and haven't found anything out of the ordinary.

what further troubleshooting steps can I take to resolve this??

Firstly, I say to check the blockings from antivirus installed on the server
. Exclue inboxes from antivirus blocking list.

Check, page file settings on the server and rectify if it is not as per the
standards.
