WM 5.0 Emulator & running an EXE?

Since there seems to be no "File Explorer" on the WM 5.0 smartphone emulator
how can I run an EXE on the emulator? On the Pocket PC WM 5.0 emulator it is
very nice to be able to attached a folder from the desktop to the storage
card of the emulator and run test vesions of our EXE. But can not seem to
figure out how to do this on the smartphone emulator.

One thing that I do is throught the file explorer on the PC I put a
short cut in the accessories folder on the start menu. It is kind of
annoying, but at least you can launch the application.

Sorry for my confusion. Could you please explain in more detail? When I
explore the smartphone from my desktop PC I do not find the accessories
folder?

Sure, when you explore the smartphone, go to Storage->Windows->Start
Menu->Accessories. There just paste a short cut of the application
that you want to run. Also, you can just put them into the Start Menu,
but some times that needs a soft reset in order for them to show up.
If you do put the shortcut into the accessories folder, usually you do
not need a soft reset for it to show up.

Thanks for all your help on this issue. It is greatly appreciated.

My issue is I don't see "Storage" folder. I am exploring using ActiveSync
explore menu item and when the explorer window comes up all I see are two
items "My Windows Mobile-Based Device" and My Pictures. When I drill down
into "My Windows Mobile-Based Device" I see the following folders:

Database
Application Data
ConnMgr
Documents and Settings
FakeRIL
MAPI
My Documents
Program Files
Storage Card

I have drilled down into each of these folders but can't find start menu
anywhere.

I am sorry, I thought I checked this earlier but it turned out to be
different than I thought. To get to the Start Menu, you need to go to
this path:

\Windows\Start Menu\Accessories

It is listed when I explore the emulator after I connect it to AS. If
it is not listed for yours maybe there is something wrong with your SDK
from when you installed and maybe you should reinstall. Or, just try
copying and pasting the above path in the explorer address bar and see
if it opens that way.
