Can any one help me how to track, where a given web part is
currently being used in the portal?

I think you mean debugging a web part, but it must be a web part for your own

Thank you for your immediate response, unfortunately your link was
not helped for me. I think you did not understand my problem. I will
write it in details.

I have a web part and I used it in different places in the portal. I
want to find out where are all its being used (list of sites which it
is reside).
