Problem accessing SPS after installing Office2003

Maybe someone does know a solution, we have a weird problem:

- We installed win 2000 (server) SP1 (with web folders) – for using as
Terminal server
- We installed SP 4
- We can reach the web folders of our SPS installation on a EPM server
- We install Office 2003 Pro (complete)

Thereafter we can't use web folders anymore (also from the server itself).

What we can do is starting a document from within IE, which starts Word with
the document. Thereafter we can't save our documents in SPS and any
connection seems to be lost. If we choose SAVE, the document is stored on the
local disk.

If we use a Win XP OS, everything works fine.

We can’t install Win2003 due internal policies.

We had for 3 days a consultant looking for a solution but he couldn't
resolve it also. I would appreciate any help.
