Is there Advanced Document Search?

Hi,

I'm new to SharePoint and I am trying to find an advanced search
capabilities of the Sharepoint. One and the most important thing that seems
to be missing is the "Advance Search". I want to be able to find documents
with different criterias like date range or properties or file type. All I
found is the view filter but that is only a solution to that library. I want
to look for any documents in any libraries.

Any help is greatly appreciated,
