Yes, that's very possible. I don't have access to a 2007 box, but I believe
it is the advanced settings section of a form library that contains the option
"View in browser". Once you set it, Forms Services renders all InfoPath forms
to HTML so end users will see it in their browsers.

In addition to our previous post, I was a bit too soon. Forms Services is
a part of the enterprise edition of SharePoint. There used to exist a product
called Forms Server which is, if I remeber correctly, based on WSS, but I
think that MS has retracted this particular configuration.

hope this can help to WSS 3.0 or SharePoint foundation users who don't want or need to purchase SharePoint enterprise license just to do electronic forms.
