Hyperlink document

My problem is:
I am uploading the first Word document into spps2003 document library, this
word document contains the Hyperlink to open the Excel document and within
this Excel document, i have about 10 hyperlinks.
Now these all hyperlinks in Excel document should open.

Navigation: Word document(has hyperlink) --> by clicking on this hyperlink
--> Excel document opens(With in this there are 10 hyperlinks) --> each
hyperlink in excel document should open corresponding document.

How to do this?
Any Ideas, Please Help

Maybe I misunderstand your question.

If these 10 links in excel are external links, you need first upload these
docs repsonding to these 10 links to DL, then edit the excel and let the 10
links linking to the 10docs just uploaded. then upload the excel and then get
the excel's url. lastly edit the first doc you referred and insert the excel
link int eh doc and then upload this doc into DL.

So when you open the doc, you will get through links to your right files.

use an absolute reference ex:
"http://www.whatever.com/documents/doc.xls"
instead of a relative reference ex: "docments/doc.xls"

you can set this by:
-selecting the link
-rightclick the link
-choose edit hyperlink
-in the address bar: type the full address

(it would be best to do this from sharepoint because Word sometimes
like to change the link reference when you move/copy files.)
