There is no 'fpdatasources' folder in the '_catalogs/'

Good evening,

I have sharepoint 2007, that has been installed by an EPM cd. I'm
actualy working on sharepoint designer 2007, and while i'm programing
i found a big problem, the folder called "fpdatasources" is not inside
the _catalogs folder, doesn't even exist. And i think is because of
that, that the option "datasource library" is grayed out.

In the past I used to have access to that folder but now it simply
doesn't appear

The server of the databse of the site isn't the same server of the
site.

I have a folder called contributor, so obviously my user is a
contributor, and i have full control inside sharepoint.

I would like to know a solution to this problem, because I can't finda
a solution on bing or google. anyone knows a site that solve my
problem? or if anyone knows a solution, please wirte me, y would be
apreciate.
