Hi all,

if I have a perfectly working intranet website on a intranet webserver
... can this site be somehow embedded (referenced) in a sharepoint
website, so if someone opens a specific sharepoint site URL he gets
the intranet site displayed inside the sharepoint site content area?

The objective is to let Sharepoint users navigate to that site "the
usual way". No further integration of the website contents into
sharepoint functionality (like workflows or search) is needed.

Thanks for any helpful informations

Alwin.

Have you tried using the "Page viewer web part"?

In your SharePoint site, create a blank site or a web part page. Then add a
Page Viewer Web Part. In the tool pane, select web page then type the link of
your page.
The site will be displayed on a sharepoint page.

Not sure if I understand your question correctly but hope this helps.

Thanks,
Marche
