Hello,
I have an SP site I migrated from SP2007 via database attach. I have one last issue that is giving me fits. I have defined a custom view and a custom content type of type folder. This folder content type has additional columns. When I create a new folder using this content type, all is well, I am able to enter the necessary data in the custom fields. However, when I select the drop down for the folder, then select either view or edit properties, the additional column data is missing and you get the standard folder properties. All is well in datasheet view, I can edit the columns that way, but for some odd reason, view or edit properties on the folder does not work. I should point out that view or edit properties on documents in the folders DOES work and display the proper fields, it is just the folder that is giving me fits. I have googled till I am blue in the face, nothing I have found has fixed this problem. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
