Hi Guys,

What kind of content types / taxonomies have you guys seen and used with SharePoint 2010 regarding what business users call Reports?

My Experience with these types of documents is having one meta tag called [effective month] or [effective date].

There are lots of operational reports that are weekly and Daily.

So that would indicate possibly three content types:
1) [Daily Report] with a field called [Effective date]
2) [Weekly Report] type with a field called [Effective Date]
3) and a Standard Report type called [Report] with a field called [Effective Month] to be used for all monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reports.

** The [Report] Content Type with an [Effective Month] is easier in terms of data entry as the user doesn't have to think if the day should be the first or last day of the month.
Also this would be in the format YYYY-MM e.g. 2012-06

Whereas the [Effective Date] would be a date.
