I’m looking for documents on how the best solution would be to give
Sharepoint at the branch office and head office.

I couldn’t find any documents.

I saw people talking about SQL 2005 mirroring and I saw that is not
recommended. Don’t think it will solve my problem. I know there is a solution
in SQL 2008 but that is not available yet.

What my client needs:

They are going to remove their file servers from the branches. We need local
access to the Sharepoint servers as we don't have fast WAN links. We need to
the content to be sync down to head office.

We want to achieve to have the same homepage so that it consistent at any
location.

If there is any documentation please let me know.

I was thinking of using content deployment but am not 100% it is the best
solution. If there is anyone that achieved the branch office deployment with
similar needs please let me know.

Did you ever find a solution to this issue? I am having the same issue with Branch offices. If we can not figure it out we will be abandoning Sharepoint and moving back to a simple fileshare. Please let me know. Thanks.
