I have authentication working between hp ux and AD R2, I want to have the
user provissioning using the Unix tab in ADUC, I ran IDMU.EXE and NISCNFG,EXE
it worked but I need to know what the containers ypserv30 and
defaultmigrationconatiner30 , created by niscnfg.exe are, what are they
functions, looks like these two executables modified the schema, so if
somebody has information about these containers it would be appreciated.

IDMU.EXE registers the nisprop.dll with ADUC and so you can see the
UNIX Attributes tab on the group/user/computer objects. This needs
schema admin privilege since it modifies the adminPropertyPages
values.

niscnfg.exe creates the defaultMigrationContainer30 and ypServ30
containers. ypServ30 container is required by the UNIX Attribute tab
to function. It contains the NIS domain and map definitions to be used
by NIS service. UNIX Attributes tab is part of the NIS tools so it
also depends on this container.
