Could be she forgot to click the option that the computer was public. A
cookie got saved that allows immediate re-login without username and
password. Another user walks up to the same computer that she left
logged in under her username, went to Hotmail, saw they got in without a
login prompt, and stole it.
Ah. Now I see why Yahoo! makes you re-enter the account password during a
session! You want to change an account setting after logging in? Gotta give
them the password. Again.
