explorer.exe hhtp connection to sa.windows.com

Hi

I got this output from netstat -ao.

TCP TEST:3035 sa.windows.com:http ESTABLISHED 184

At tbe time process id 184 was explorer.exe not
IEXPLORE.exe.

Any idea why explorer.exe is opening up http connections.

explorer can open web pages just as easily as iexplore can these days.
sometimes that is handy if you have a hijacker in ie you can surf to a web
site in explorer and download cleaners, but since you never actually load ie
the hijacker can be bypassed. try opening explorer, show the address bar
and type in www.google.com, and surf away.
