Not sure - check with McAfee support on this.

You don't really have two antivirus applications running at the same time, I
hope? This is a very bad idea. Pick one.

If you need more specific McAfee Support then best thing to do is to
post your issue at the McAfee Help Forum:
http://forums.mcafeehelp.com/

You could check your system at the Virtual Technician:

That company was the biggest nuisance when the online subscription was
expired. The classaction lawsuit against nai was to upgrade oem to the
"perpetual" version VirusScan v.8.0 [dat files included] as a matter of
efficiency and effectiveness in combating the problems in the mass email
systems. In less than a year the "Bug was Back" at the nominal $39.95
violating the California biz ethics, and popups galore. It also is poorly
writ making your OS issue warnings and draining system resources. Add this
up with ZA firewall and you and your computer are on the fast track to the
Solid Waste District.

Are you implying that I should go back to NAV and then maybe use Windows
Firewall?

I will not advertise. However, break the bondage of the OEM packageing. Look
at other systems out there and compare its organization and structure as
unity and component and its use of system resources. You will be surprised
what you will find. It is a global market.
