This has happened on several occasions in the past. When
updating Iexplorer. On Reboot the machine hangs. After
going in to safe mode, and back to windows. IExplorer
shows Cypher strength is 0. I cannot get the security back
even reinstalling IExplorer? Any help appreciated.

Note that this article only covers the 9.x series of OS's. My
understanding, and I don't have a KB reference handy, although I think there
is one, is that on at least Windows 2000 and XP, a reinstall of IE is the
correct fix.

Hello

Unfortunatelly I couldn't find any information regarding Windows XP but
concerning Win2000 please note that installing 5.5 will NOT install 128bit
encryption. You must install the Windows 2000 High Encryption Pack.

If I will find any information regarding WinXP I will post at that thread
