enable 128-bit encryption on internet explorer 5.5

I have a windows me computer with internet explorer 5.5
installed. I'm not able to make purchases at many
websites because (I think) my 128-bit encription is not
enabled. ie 5.5 is supposed to have 128-bit encryption
but apparently not in my case. any suggestions?

Try Windows Update... high encryption pack. However, if you're going to
bother, might's well upgrade to IE6 SP1 while you're there, tho - the high
encryption may be built into it (I suspect so).
