Does anyone know where is the SP2 update for Outlook
Express 5.5, required before you can install the Oct 2002
Security Update for Outlook Express? Searching the
Microsoft Knowledge Base and site doesn't come up with

meant I needed a separate update for OE. At any rate, I
installed the IE5.5 SP2 some time ago and the Help/About
in IE confirms that. The Help/About in OE5.5 doesn't
confirm it. Maybe I need to run the SP2 again. Thanks for

I would re-do SP2--that's the only way I know.
Hold on--I can look at an ie55sp2 system and get you some details--actually,
I think they are in the KB. (Couldn't find it in the KB--here's detail from
a live system)
5.50.4807.1700
with some later components if you've installed various fixes since then.
