I've noticed that it takes too much time for cscript
to finish its job.
Take for example the simplest script:
WScript.Echo("Hello world!");
It immediately prints out "Hello world!" and then waits for 10
seconds(!) before exit on my Pentium 4.
The same code under wscript runs without any delay.
Does anyone know how to speed up the process ?

That doesn't happen on my WinXP, SP1 equipped Centrino machine. It sounds to
me like a time out issue, but I don't have any idea what or why.

I've run the test on several machines in our office and got the same delay.
My computer: P4 WinXP SP1.
The delay seems to be intended to give a user some time to read script output.
But I still have no idea how to turn this option off.
Thanks anyway!

Running McAfee 8.0i caused cscript to pause at the end of the script on
my machines.

Download WSH 5.6.0.8825 to fix the problem...
