The Microsoft tool devcon.exe
(http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/1/f/11f7dd10-272d-4cd2-896f-9ce67f3e0240/devcon.exe)
lets me enumerate, enable or disable a large number of hardware devices. How
could I perform some or all of these functions using WMI?

Not. Since the exe is not redundant.

Either use wmi and cry, or use developer connection tool
for specialist overbearers.

:) I miss asdf. He's a bit rough around the
edges sometimes, but read as poetry I thought
some of his posts were insightful, humorous
and informative.
