I'm working with a bunch of different OS's, win 3.1,win95,win98,win2000 and
some machines don't have wsh or could be running the wrong vers of wsh. If
possible, I would like to run wsh from the server to eliminate these issues.
I need to know if this is possible and how can this be done.

Thanks,

Jesse Mosley Jr.

Not possible...WSH is a client side technology and all of it's components must be installed on the client.

PS - Win3x has never been supported and the current WSH 5.6 release doesn't officially support Win95. The previous 5.1 snd 5.5 version install packages are still available.

I don't think this is a good idea try to run script files remotely without
install WSH. To run such files like .vbs or .js, the lcoal system need to
have necessary component installed. However, if you have sufficent
previlige over all computers and can run the script from a center place,
that's also OK.

Hope this helps,

Robin
