Date/Time change backward

Hi,

I have a user's xp machine always have its date/time coming backward, After
I adjust it to correct time, it will getting back in one about one hour. any
idea? is this relative to virus?

No. Not virus related. Most likely Daylight Savings Time (DST) related.

I have check DST and could not find any problem, the date/Time backward can
back to couple of days. any idea?

I dont know much about this things, but I have a similar problem with a
laptop. Some people say it may be caused by a low CMOS battery. When I took
my computer for service they just reseted the CMOS (that's what the service
sheet says) and the problem was solved. Maybe if you replace this battery the
problem may be solved.

Is there a virus that messes with date and time? My computer has the correct
day, month, and time, but the year keeps going back to 2004. Also, My
homepage changes everytime I shut my computer down.

Change your PC battery!

Then we'll see why you homepage doesn't stick.
