Is there a way to clear the screen when running a vbs script in cscript, like
the cls command in dos and the syscls in rexx?

don't "echo" the results when the script runs using cscript.exe as your
script host and use wscript.exe to execute the script. What exactly are you
trying to do?

I am trying to use stdin, type something in, press enter, screen clears and
output would then be generated.

One script I use just uses wscript.stdout.writeblanklines(50) for a
break. Maybe that would help.

If nothing better, writing 50 or 60 blank lines should do it.
