Hi all:
currently I am writing a web based photo album program, what I need to
do is to let user select image files from client hard disk and then I stored
images into my SQL Server database, I already did this. the question is how
can I generate a thumbnail image according to the data stored in database?
are there any free components which can do this; or anybody knows the
algorithm so that I can do it myself.
any suggestion is welcomed.

I have found ASPJPeg (http://www.aspjpeg.com/) that will create an image on
the fly for you. But what I need to do is figure out a way to save an image
to a temp file... convert it using this program, and then delete the file
after its done.
