I am located in Holland and use MOA for several years. It does the basic
things I need the package for. I can not use certain funtionality such as
printing invoices or statements because the system uses the pound sign as
currency, but I need the euro € sign. Is there anybody who knows how to
change the currency sign?

Enable multiple currencies in the company setup. Restart MOA. Then edit
the currencies and you can change it there.
