Russian file names in Explorer

Hi,

I am using an English version of Win98SE.

I have managed to set up the 'Multi Language' and the Keyboard
switching to be able to type/read Russian characters in MS Word, MS
Excel, etc.

But the Russian character named files display as gobbleydook in the
Explorer listing. When I try to open such a file, say in Word, I get
an error message saying that the file can not be found...

Anyone have a suggestion how to fix this problem?
