Am nevoie de Visual Studio 6.0, mai exact de Visual Basic.
L-am instalat sub Vista dar..... am nevoie si de ServicePack 5.
Ei bine - pe acesta nu-l pot instala sub nici o forma pentru ca imi spun ca:
"This Service Pack requires MDAC 2.5 or greater to install........"
Binenteles ca am incercat sa instalez nenumarate versiuni de Mdac dar....
fara rezultat.

Nu ca as garanta vreo reusita dar ai putea instala ceea ce vrei pe un XP
iar apoi sa copiezi fisierele in acceasi locatie in sistemul cu Vista.

Un soft care monitorizeaza ce fisiere/chei din registri sunt
accesate/modificate in timpul instalarii te-ar putea ajuta mult.

In afara de asta ai putea incerca sa instalezi mdac in compatibilitate
cu XPSP2 (Properties/Compatibility)

Multumesc pt raspuns.
Mie imi trebuie numai un singur dll - cel care contine control-ul pentru
comunicatia seriala. Am incercat sa copiez fisierul respectiv - problema este
ca imi spune ca nu am licenta pentru el. Instaland-ul din SP5 venea si cu
licenta respectiva.
Am incercat sa rulez mdac-ul si cu diverse setari de compatibilitate dar...
fara rezultat. Cred ca o sa-mi fac downgrade la windows. Din pacate pentru
asta trebuie
sa fac update si la BIOS.
NU RECOMAND Windows VISTA !
Am facut update-urile de pe NET - si de atunci imi crapa la fiecare 5 minute
pe motiv de "Low memory" - nu am decat un 1Gb de memorie. Of...
