It's been a year since I first posted my question to MS about Reader not
activating on 6.1. They finally posted an update and Reader is again working
on my mobile device. Of course in the past year I have used and purchased
books for two other readers. It's nice to be able to read all my old books
again, but that's way too long to wait for a fix.

I have a T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 with WM 6.1 Professional. I, too, was having
trouble activating my phone with the old version of MS Reader for PPC. I
downloaded and installed the new version this afternoon and still had
difficulty activating.

I would go through the Vista PPC activation. Get the successful activation
note. But still couldn't open my books because according to my Touch Pro 2,
it needed to be activated for the new version of Reader.

Finally, this evening I re-activated successfully, and my version of Reader
now says it's activated. However, when I try to open one of my books I get
the Windows spinner forever and it never successfully opens the book. I did
a soft reset on my device and it still does the spinner thing and still
doesn't open the book. Is anyone else having this problem and, if so, can
you tell me what to do to overcome it?

Thanks.
