Hello,
I'm using spb mobil shell version 3.0.1 build 6501 on my at&t tilt. I have
a problem when using the microsoft ebook reader version 2.11.15.0 with spb
mobil shell . I've been using the MS reader for over a year on this device.
After I installed spb mobile shell I cannot open any ebooks. I get the
message:
"this copy of the microsoft reader cannot open this title. you may not have
the appropriate rights for viewing this content. please reactivate ..."
I have un-installed/re-installed the MS reader and re-activated it. I've
also re-copied the book over to my device. If I un-install SPB mobile shell,
the problem goes away. I checked the SPBforums for any such problem and have
not found anything. Anyone seen this problem? Thanks

Yup, activation has always been a problem with MS Reader.

A possible solution is converting .LIT files into an open format (calibre,
Convert LIT, ABC Amber LIT Converter - see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Reader#Converting_.LIT_files_into_an_open_format
for links. Of these, I've mostly used the free Convert LIT) and, then, into,
say, the Mobipocket format. This also has the advantage of offering a lot of
additional goodies, compared to the pretty barebone MS Reader.
