Is there anyone authorised to answer when will this problem with ms reader activation will be resolved? I feel robbed! I didn't know about this problem and I bought a new e-book which I cannot read. Shouldn't there be a consumer group or someting we can go to and help with this? From what I read, microsoft doesn't bother to do anything about this and that shows the respect they have for consumers.

Try giving them a call. 800-426-9400 But don't be too surprised if you get nowhere.

What device are you trying to activate? An XP PC, a Vista PC? A portable (Windows Mobile) device?

You have presumably downloaded the protected ebook onto a pc with an activated copy of reader installed. If not do so. Then use Convertlit to remove the drm then copy it to your mobile device where it will open ok in the un activated copy of Reader.
