Every document I do in Publisher 2007 is being tiled and I want it to be just
the single page in the size I have chosen (11" x 17"). Anyone have a
suggestion on how I can correct this and have only one page print out instead
of the four tiled pages? Thank you!

In page setup select the 11 x 17 paper size. It will appear correctly on the
screen. Do your creating. When you are ready to print, File, print, re-set the
page size to 11 x 17 on this screen, the tile feature should disappear, click
the print preview, it should preview and print correctly. If you cancel out of
this screen the print preview will be correct.

Does your printer support 11x17" paper? Have you set up your Print Setup
as such?

Any ideas? I've used the "publish as PDF" add-on as suggested in a previous posting, in order to send a flier to a commercial printer to create full bleed fliers. Should this do the trick? Thanks very much!

This has happened to me several times and it is maddening because it doesn't happen often enough for me to remember how I fixed it last time, and all the expert advice is either difficult to follow or useless.

Click on "File Print".
When the page opens up you will see a white box labelled "printing options" which depicts your two options: (1) One page per sheet or (2) Tiled.

Click on "One page per sheet and the problem" is fixed.

I still don't know what I did to start the stupid tiling, but this is the fix!

@Laurence Crider - I found your answer and thought I was on the right track but what version of Publisher were you speaking of? I have version 2007 and I do not have a white printing options button. Hope you can help.

Thank you

This is absolutely ridiculous!! I am using the newest version of publisher and it is still being tiled. There are no options for me to change it off tiled or the paper size!! Complete waste of time!

This is getting to be ridiculous. I remember in the past not having this problem, but now no matter what I do I can't get publisher to print correctly. Most of the time the ONLY option is Tiled Printing. I change the paper size, match it to the size in our production printer, Tiled Only. This is so frustrating that I'm going to find an alternative to Publisher. Right now I have to do the design in Publisher and the printing from a saved PDF. Others are having this problem as well. Please fix it.

I am having the same problem. I have no option to print as one page. What an incredibly frustrating glitch in this system. And, I am happy to print as a pdf. Can't even do it there.

What are you trying to print, and what are the dimensions? What are you
attempting to print to?

I have Publisher 2007 and don't see those issues.

File/Print Setup should control how many copies Publisher tries to put
on a printed page. Under Printing Options, is "One page per sheet" or
"Multiple copies per sheet" selected?

To produce a PDF, File/Publish to PDF or XPS will let me create a PDF of
my content.

I've had this issue a LOT of times in Publisher 2010, but I don't know that this will work in 2007.

Go to File < Export.
In the menu, choose Create PDF/XPS Document.
Click on Create PDF/XPS.
Then open the PDF file and you should be able to print it normally from there.

Hopefully this works for 2007, but no promises. It does work very well for 2010, as long as you have a PDF reader program (although there are a lot of websites that do it for free too).

Check the portrait/landscape settings on the print dialog box.

This is so frustrating. I also have no other option than TILED. Sending to colleague who apparently has a publisher version that does its job.

This absolutely worked. Thanks for the tip, otherwise, I would have had to recreate my whole document again. Thank you!
